The DNS 323 also allows remote access of files through the Internet with the built-in FTP server. Whether you are allowing access locally or over the Internet, you can keep data safe by only giving rights to specific users or groups.
The easy to use configuration of the DNS-323 allows you to easily create users and groups and assign them to folders with either read or read and write permissions. This feature is ideal for an office environment with employee-specific sensitive data as well as for the home where you can ensure your children will only have access to age appropriate material.
The D-Link DNS 323 uses two internal 3.5″ SATA drives and has a built-in USB print server, meaning you can plug your USB printer into the enclosure to allow anyone on the network to print. It connects to your network with a 10/100/1000 Gigabit ethernet port for maximum speed.
